Kristy Allen is a Sydney painter, originally from Brisbane via Perth and London, UK. “When I'm not doing my day job, I love to paint with watercolour. My subjects vary from portraits to still life and landscapes. I love experimenting with this unruly medium and trying to tame it into paintings with layered colour, and bold light & shade”. Kristy is a design manager at Murdoch Books (a division of Allen & Unwin), where she manages creatives teams and the production of award winning lifestyle books. She is mum to two gorgeous girls and French Bulldog called Lois.
